David is a guest conductor for La Scala Ballet, including Manon, Don Quixote, Nureyev and Fracci galas, and Academy evenings. The 2025 Paquita run captured on this site credits Paul Connelly as conductor.

David was a guest conductor with the Paris Opera Ballet from 1989/90 to 2003/04. In 2001 he prepared a new Paquita score after Deldevez and Minkus for Pierre Lacotte’s Palais Garnier creation, and conducted that run and the 2003 DVD recording.

David was Principal Guest Conductor of London Festival Ballet, later English National Ballet. A 1977 Nutcracker programme at the Royal Festival Hall names him as assistant conductor. His biography also records conducting London Nureyev Festivals at the Coliseum. This site has no programme page for those nights.
