Péter Lakatos

Péter Lakatos has been a member of the Hungarian State Opera since 2003. He studied at the Béla Bartók High School of Music and the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, with master classes from Peter Damm and Frank Loyd, and won first prizes at national horn competitions in Pécs, Békés and Debrecen.

The Opera later awarded him the Juventus Award and the Vilmos Komor Commemorative Plaquette. He has also played with the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra since 2008.
