Santiago Cañón-Valencia is a Colombian cellist, born in Bogotá on 9 May 1995. He began the cello at four and made his orchestral debut with the Bogotá Philharmonic at six. He later studied in New Zealand, at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, in Weimar and at Kronberg Academy.

He won third prize at the 2017 Queen Elisabeth Competition and the silver medal and audience award at the 2019 International Tchaikovsky Competition, and was a BBC New Generation Artist in 2022. He is the billed cello soloist on Golden Age: English Elegance.
