Rosa Pierro was born in Rome and trained at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera, the Accademia Nazionale di Danza and Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. After the academy youth company she danced with the Hungarian and Polish national ballets, as a principal guest with Ballet Ireland, and as a soloist with Aalto Ballett Essen.
She joined the Vienna State Ballet as a soloist in 2025/26. Her repertoire includes leading roles in Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote and The Nutcracker.
