Marianela Nuñez is an Argentine-British dancer and a principal of The Royal Ballet in London. Born in Buenos Aires, she trained at the Teatro Colón Ballet School, joined that company as a teenager, and entered The Royal Ballet School in 1997 before joining the company the following year. She was promoted to principal in 2002.

She has danced the classical ballerina roles in London and as a guest, including at La Scala, and won the 2013 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance. She was appointed OBE in 2024 for services to dance. The La Scala artist page billed for the Fracci gala does not publish a written biography.
