Laura Fernandez Gromova

Laura Fernandez Gromova was born in Switzerland and is half Ukrainian and half Spanish. She studied at the Zurich Dance Academy, won prizes at the Prix de Lausanne, and continued at the Vaganova Academy. From 2016 to 2019 she was the first Swiss dancer engaged by the Mariinsky Ballet, later a principal at the Stanislavsky Theatre and in Tbilisi.

She joined the Vienna State Ballet as a principal in 2025/26 and made her house debut in the title role of Tchernichova’s Giselle.
