Ellina Pohodnih

Ellina Pohodnih trained in Odessa and Kyiv and was a principal at Odessa National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet before joining the Hungarian National Ballet as a semi-soloist in 2017. Her competition record includes prizes in Astana, Korea, Siberia, Kyiv and Sochi.

Hungarian State Opera bills her in the classical repertory, including Giselle. On David Coleman’s Erkel Theatre nights she danced the title role, and she also appears on his later Budapest programmes for Swan Lake, Onegin and The Sleeping Beauty.
