Cassandra Trenary, from Georgia, trained at Lawrenceville School of Ballet and the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. She joined American Ballet Theatre’s corps, became a soloist in 2015 and a principal in 2020, dancing MacMillan’s Juliet and Manon among other leading roles.
She has been a principal of the Vienna State Ballet since 2025/26. She received a Princess Grace Dance Honoraria in 2015 and the Annenberg Fellowship for Dance in 2017.
